Please note that our Test Kits are dispatched using Royal Mail tracked postage. As Christmas approaches, and due to Pandemic conditions, there may be delays in postage please order early The 24 hour complimentary tracked return postage may not deliver your test kit in 24 hours to our Northampton or London Lab on some occasions, especially during Christmas. It is better to use a courier or drop the sample yourself. You may use the complimentary postage at your own risk AlphaMedicol is not liable for Royal Mail delays and will not provide refunds due to postage delays when returning your test kit to the lab. This service is not suitable for same-day or 24 hour PCR tests. For a 48-hour service you will need to drop the sample at the Lab yourself or use a courier service. . Please read the FAQ sections below for conditions about postage, information about courier services, and our terms and conditions before making any purchase. You are purchasing a COVID-19 testing service from us which is provided on a best efforts basis and starts when we issue a passenger locator number for international arrivals, or for international departures, once we send you a COVID-19 Test kit. We are unable to provide a refund once the sealed Test kit has been opened or used. Once we have commenced the service any cancellation will attract a £10:00 administrative fee. Day 2 and Day 8 tests are non-refundable.

We use Royal Mail’s tracked services; we are not liable for Royal mail postage delays (which are rare).Please place your order well in advance of your travel date; we recommend at least 1 week. in advance. If you are willing to travel to Aylesbury we may be able to arrange a collection in person at our office; please contact us.
After taking your COVID-19 test, you are responsible for getting your test kit to the laboratory. Three ways of doing this are:
– using the included complimentary Tracked 24 postage label to post at a Royal Mail priority post box. When used on a weekday (i.e. Mondays to Fridays) your sample should arrive at the laboratory on the next day. We do not recommend using the complimentary postage label for posting COVID-19 Test Kits over the weekend (i.e. on Saturdays and Sundays) as Royal Mail does not collect post from most priority post boxes on weekends.
– Arranging your own courier
– delivering to the laboratory in person
Couriers services: This is one of the quickest ways to get your test kit to the lab. You may use any courier service of your choice; we do not endorse any service. Our customers have used the following services:

AlphaMedicol will not be liable for any delays in postage by Royal Mail or any other courier service. We will not issue refunds for missing Test Kits but may provide you with a replacement Test kit at the cost of £15/kit if requested.
Once your COVID-19 PCR sample arrives at the lab, your test result will be emailed to you within:
– 24 hours for Fit to Fly PCR tests
– 24 hours for Test to Release PCR tests
– 48 hours for Day 8 PCR tests
– 72 hours for day 2 PCR tests
